Pisgah Pelvic Health

About Eliana
I am a dedicated pelvic floor occupational therapist with a passion for helping individuals improve their quality of life through intuitive, specialized care. With a deep understanding of the musculoskeletal and neurological aspects of pelvic health, I work with clients to address issues such as pelvic pain, incontinence, birth prep and postpartum recovery, and overall pelvic wellness.
My approach is holistic and client-centered, incorporating evidence-based techniques, education, and functional strategies tailored to each individual's needs. I believe in empowering my clients with the knowledge and tools they need to regain confidence and comfort in their daily lives.
Beyond my clinical work, I am passionate about advocacy and education, striving to break the stigma of conversations surrounding pelvic health and promote awareness in the broader community. Whether working one-on-one with clients, leading workshops, or collaborating with other healthcare professionals, my goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.
In my free time I enjoy exploring nature, doing pottery at a local community studio, taking a dance class, or trying to befriend any animal I come across :)
body empowerment is for everyone.

If you have a pelvic floor, I’ll treat it! I am here to serve all bodies, no matter the gender, age, or experience. My main goal in providing pelvic care is to create a safe, empowering, fun, and educational container for you to gain a deeper connection to your body.

We’ll get to know each other by going over your intake paperwork and having a conversation about why you’re seeking out pelvic floor therapy. This is a great time for you to share as little or as much as you feel comfortable! From there I’ll go over some basics about the pelvic floor, its functions, and how some of your issues may be tied to the pelvis. Next it’s time for me to go over what to expect during an internal exam- internal work is never necessary and consent is always discussed. If it’s a go then we’ll get you all set up and establish a baseline for how your pelvic floor is functioning. Afterwards, we will collaborate to create a treatment plan that will get you on the path to long-lasting relief!

YES! Tightness, incoordination, or adhesions in your pelvis can make it much more challenging for successful implantation to occur. I will support you not only physically, but I will also offer lifestyle strategies you can implement to decrease stress, regulate hormones, and prepare for this next big chapter in your life.

Finding a safe connection with intimacy can be really hard and scary for some folks. I am here to support those seeking to create a new narrative with their bodies and minds. I will collaborate with your mental therapist if desired and or needed. I also have many therapist contacts in the community that are trained in EMDR, TRE, EFT, and a plethora of other therapeutic modalities that will safely allow you to process your experiences at your own pace. Your sense of safety and consent are paramount during our sessions together and I will verbally communicate before every physical action I perform and I will pay close attention to your verbal and nonverbal responses. In some cases, your needs may be outside my scope of practice and I will refer you to a mental health therapist that will best support you where you’re at.

Our work together should never hurt or be painful! If you begin to feel any uncomfortable feelings, we will go about treatment in a different way that doesn’t cause pain.

The environment surrounding us plays a big role in how we perceive our feelings of nervousness. From cozy low lighting to being draped with a cotton sheet on a warm treatment table, my goal is for you to feel relaxed and comfortable. A huge component of physical pain and pelvic floor issues come from stress and anxiety. When we are able to relax and decompress, our nervous systems can down-regulate which makes us feel less nervous.
